As well as providing dance tuition, the school also provides its students with the opportunity to perform at the highest level on some of UK’s biggest stages. Shows are performed on a bi-annual basis and ofqual-accredited examinations can be taken in ballet, tap and jazz dance. Troupes from the school can be seen competing successfully on programmes such as ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and Sky 1’s Got to Dance performing in front of Simon Cowell, Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. The school appears regularly on BBC, ITV and S4C.
Debbie is a regular choreographer for stage and television in Wales and credits include Upstairs Downstairs, Torchwood, Wizards and Aliens, Belonging, Mawr, Only Men Aloud, Rhydian, Compassionata, Pobl y Cwm, A Poet in New York, The life of Shirley Bassey, Upstairs Downstairs and most recently, The Collection: An Amazon TV series which was released in January 2017. Debbie was also the choreographer of the Classical Brit Award winning choir Only Men Aloud, and has worked with them on all of their sell-out UK tours.
Past and present pupils of Debbie have attended London Studio Centre, Arts Educational, Guilford School of Acting, Laine’s Theatre Arts, Northern Ballet School, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Bird College, Urdang Academy andThe Royal Ballet School.
Many pupils are currently associates with The Royal Ballet School, BBO Scholars, London Studio Centre and Ballet Cymru.
